THE INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP

Film, Identity & Narrative Power

A focused introduction to how film and personal stories shape identity, belief, and decision-making.

What the work looks like

Using film analysis and guided reflection, participants examine character motivations, the assumptions behind a choice, and its consequences. Facilitated dialogue connects those observations to everyday decisions without requiring personal disclosures.

Learning intentions

These describe the focus of the work, rather than guaranteed or independently measured results.

  • Notice how a story frames identity and possibility.
  • Question the beliefs behind a character’s choices.
  • Practice connecting narrative analysis to personal reflection.

Before we begin

We agree on age suitability, group size, delivery format, accessibility needs, and suitable film material before confirming a session. Workshops in correctional settings require facility approval, approved media, and coordination with host staff.

A clear next step

Share your audience, goals, and possible timing. Bryson will discuss suitability, scope, practical requirements, and cost before a program is confirmed.

LET’S BUILD WITH INTENTION

Bring the conversation to your organization.

Tell us who you serve and what you want to explore. We’ll start with fit, then shape a practical next step.
